CeBIT – Die führende europäische Veranstaltung der IKT Branche findet vom  06. bis 10. März 2012 statt. Veranstaltungsort ist Messegelände, 30521 Hannover, Deutschland, mit Öffnungszeiten täglich von 9:00 bis 18:00 Uhr. Die CeBIT, Herz der digitalen Welt, bringt Anbieter und User auf Entscheidungsniveau zusammen, durch die vier Plattformen der Veranstaltung: CeBIT pro, CeBIT gov, CeBIT life und CeBIT lab. Codespring nimmt als Aussteller teil, und zwar im Rahmen des rumänischen Standes in Halle 6, Stand D46. Bereits Mitte der neunziger Jahre argumentierten  Telekommunikations-Fans über die Vorteile und die zukünftige Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten von Digital Video und IPTV (Internet Protocol Television). In den vergangenen zwei Jahrzehnten haben wir erlebt, wie IP Fernsehen in unser tägliches Leben eindrang. Heute kommt uns vor, dass es “Live Übertragungen” und “interaktive Shows” schon immer gegeben hat; dass wir uns unsere Lieblings-Fernsehfilme wieder neu ansehen können, so oft wir wollten, scheint etwas Selbstverständliches zu sein.   Fachleute versuchen Live Streaming und Videowiedergabe auf Abruf in hochspezialisierten Bereiche, wie Medizin, Raumfahrttechnik, militärische oder wissenschaftliche Forschung anzuwenden

Along with other EU members, Romania enters 2012 haunted by the traps residing in the turmoiled euro zone. Nevertheless, the Romanian IT&C stood out as a pillar of growth and development for the national economy, maintaining its contribution to the domestic GDP. The total export of IT Services and software development were accountable for av. 1% of the GDP in 2011. Grosso modo, the data collected over the year substantiates the hypothesis according to which investors were inspired to bet on Romania for offshoring. Agile practices combined with a transformational approach erected Romanian IT & Software offshoring providers among the few preferred destinations in the world.

On the occasion of VERSANT OODB workshop and the announcement of proposed Thesis Themes, on the 11^th of January 2012, we had the pleasure to welcome brainiacs from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Babes-Bolyai University. In spite of the winter and upcoming exam session, company fans, friends and their teachers were present at the meeting. Great audience: about a hundred persons faced us with interesting questions and good ideas.
