Summer Internship

CODESPRING – THE PLACE TO UPGRADE YOURSELF IN 2013

The Internship opportunity is open for students attending the Faculty of Mathematics – Informatics from the Babes Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca and for the students attending the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science or the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

Internships are a great way to get in touch with real projects and have a little “on the job” insight.

This year’s summer internship program will focus on the following themes:

	Theme	Description	Minimal required skills (environment, technologies)
1	Server-side Java technologies and Java web applications	Using Java technologies for server-side software and web application development.	Very good programming skills; Knowledge of OOP design principles and UML; Java SE knowledge; Java EE/Spring experience is a plus.
2	Smartphone apps (Android, iOS, PhoneGap)	Development, design and testing of Smartphone mobile applications.	Very good programming skills; Knowledge of OOP design principles and UML; Eclipse, Android SDK, PhoneGap, Xcode, Objective C, Cocoa-Touch experience is a plusVery good programming skills; Knowledge of OOP design principles and UML; Eclipse, Android SDK, PhoneGap, Xcode, Objective C, Cocoa-Touch experience is a plus
3	Liferay platform	Creating enterprise web applications using the Liferay portal platform.	Very good programming skills; Knowledge of OOP design principles and UML; Java SE knowledge; Java EE experience is a plus.
4	C# / C++ development	Create estimations and schedules for the construction industry based on 3D models of a building created in various modeling applications.	Very good programming skills; Knowledge of OOP design principles and UML; C++ / C# and .Net development experience is a plus;
5	SNMP-based applications	Managing network devices through the SNMP protocol.	Very good programming skills; Knowledge of OOP design principles and UML; C# and .Net development experience is a plus;

Internship Duration:

min. 90 hours (for BBU students)

min. 240 hours (for Technical University students)

 

Number of open positions: 10 – 15 students

Registration term: April 30th 2013
