SISY 2022 – The international scientific conference in Subotica, Vojvodina, Serbia took place between the 15^th and 17^th of September. We are happy to let you know that Codespring colleagues presented a set of outstanding research papers at this edition of Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics – SISY 2022, the international scientific conference.

About SISY 2022 – The International Scientific Conference in Subotica

Organized by Óbuda University, Budapest, Hungary, VTS – Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences and IEEE SMC Technical Committee on Computational Cybernetics, the SISY 2022 – scientific conference in Subotica was hosted by Subotica Town Hall and the Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences (VTS). For the 20th jubilee edition, a set of scientific papers from 16 countries were submitted.

SISY 2022 – the international scientific conference in Subotica accepted the applications of four teams from Cluj Napoca, Transylvania. We are proud to announce that the majority of the authors of these original and unpublished papers are actually our colleagues at Codespring.

Satellite Activities around SISY 2022 – The International Scientific Conference in Subotica

Showcasing the research in the field of Intelligent Systems and Informatics and its applications in everyday life was the main scope of attending the IEEE 20th Jubilee International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics.

Nevertheless, SISY 2022 was an opportunity to extend our scientific and academic relationships in this region of Europe, but also a great occasion to visit this beautiful city and its surroundings.

Firstly, we must mention the main venue of the event – Subotica City Hall, an incredible piece of Hungarian Art Nouveau architecture that has become the landmark of the city. Built between 1908 and 1910, finished in 1912, the Art Nouveau decorations of the building are enriched with patterns of stylized flowers, ceramic and wrought iron floral jewelry. In addition, carved wood, brass fittings, stylish lamps and ceramic eosin tiles create a unique atmosphere and impress any visitor.

Secondly, we have this tradition of visiting Lake Palić settlements and natural reserve. The elegant villas, the captivating promenade and the Hungarian secession spa and bath buildings are simply remarkable. One can still see old Woman’s Lido, the Music Pavilion and the ingenious water tower.

A third impressive visiting point was the Ergela Kelebija where we have discovered the 60 magnificent Lipizzaners. The modern stables with fiacres and the enchanting museum with carriages are worth visiting.

Next, we must mention the architectural attraction points such as the magnificent palace of Ferenc Raichle and the Miksa Dömötör tenement palace where the city museum is currently hosted.

While picking up on some of the Art Nouveau Tour objectives, we have also admired the National Theater of Subotica – an institution unique in Serbia for it fosters the cultural identity of all communities in the region. This theatre stages two languages: Drama in Serbian and Drama in Hungarian.
