About the Project

The project is a support dashboard empowering customer service agents to assist their end-customers to solve the problems they encounter while operating their smart home system.

Your Responsibilities As Software Developer and DevOps Engineer

• Software Developer:
  • Feature development in: Java (SpringBoot), NodeJS and React
  • Developing software components in Java that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
  • You will need to connect and query databases from the MongoDB
  • Use development tools like Jira and Jenkins

• DevOps:
  • Managing cloud-based application on AWS
  • Maintaining and deploying the cloud applications
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the cloud infrastructure
  • Developing new cloud-based solutions
  • Performing infrastructure upgrades and updates to maximize system efficiency while minimizing downtime.
  • Packaging applications with Docker
  • Implementing deployments for different type of applications (Java, NodeJS, React, Python, etc.)
  • Configure continuous integration tools such as Jenkins

• You will have to analyze, design and implement customer requirements
• You will be an active part in the execution of software development from concept to testing
• You will progress by providing and managing technical support to the client

What We Expect From Your Side

• To have a BSc degree (preferably in Computer Science / Mathematics – Informatics) or ongoing MSc studies
• Basic OOP knowledge
• Basic Docker knowledge
• Knowledge of the following programming languages, systems and tools is a plus:
  • Java (SpringBoot), NodeJS and React
  • Jira, Jenkins
  • DevOps tools: Terraform
  • Deployment and Jenkins
  • OpenVPN

The Languages You Should Speak

• English will be the main working and communication language
• Hungarian would be a plus
