After an intense selection process, we announce that only a few candidates matched the profile for the vacant positions of our 2011 Summer Internship. Therefore, we welcome the three winning candidates who will benefit of a 90 / 120 hours training and experience programme.  Each of these students will be mentored by one of our colleagues, who will guide them through the company and the chosen study theme.

The three students have been chosen for two main themes: Portlet development in Java (2 students) and Silverlight development (1 student).

Under the first study theme, the internship will consist in learning how to develop Java Portlets according to Sun Portlet Specification and how to use Java Portlets in Liferay environment. The selected candidates had to present general good knowledge of: OOP, Java, Liferay and Eclipse.

Under the second study theme, the internship will follow GUI prototyping in Silverlight 4. The chosen candidates had to prove very good programming skills, some ability to work independently, knowledge of .Net programming, whereas WPF / Silverlight experience was considered a plus.

We estimate that the entire programme will be fulfilled until the 5 of August 2011. Each year, Codespring Summer Internship offers an opportunity to learn, to test your skills and to grab the chance of turning into a potential recruit for our software development teams. It is up to you, to make it an experience of high value and personal development. We provide the tools and the environment; students are expected to come with an open mind and positive attitude!

The output of this action will be presented in august 2011. Keep up the good work!
