Happy Winners at the Transylvanian Scientific Students’ Conference 2014

Codespring Mentoring Team is happy to share with you the fabulous results that the teams under our guidance had at the Transylvanian Scientific Students’ Conference 2014, 15-18 May 2014. Out of 6 projects that have been selected for the contest, 3 of them reached the podium. The program coordinator, Mr. Simon Karoly , Ph. D. and Torok-Vistai Tamas, project manager, are proud to have met such wonderful results and is looking forward for further cooperations with students and researchers within Codespring Mentoring Programe in partnership with the elite universities from Cluj-Napoca.

During the “Transylvanian Scientific Student’s Conference” held between the 15th and 18th of May 2014, by Babeş-Bolyai University from Cluj-Napoca, the Mathematics and Information Technology Departments, a series of research and knowledge sharing activities have been scheduled.

2014-05-18 20.20.15A special projects contest was also running during the conference. Codespring research and professional mentorship team attended the event with 6 projects and 12 students.

On the occasion we are proud to announce that all winning teams belong to our mentorship programe. Congratulations to all the winners, which are as follows:

1st prize: Balazsi, Raduly, Kardos (Sparrow team) / Software System for Broadcasting and Monitoring Traffic Information
2nd prize: Brassai, Varga (GeoQuesting team) / On-line Questing Game for Mobile Devices and a Web Application for Game Creation
3rd prize: Gyori, Imecs, Torok (OptInv team) / SaaS Solution for Inventory Optimization

Once again we also congratulate the organizing committee of the event for the initiative and the effort of encouraging students to participate at such competitions.

Codespring is committed to continue the cooperation with the local elite universities in order to promote research and development in information technology, namely software development.
