Three days left until the Official Opening of CeBIT 2014. The world’s leading IT show and conference for professionals, will be open to business professionals between the 10th and 14th of March 2014, in Hannover. Romania will attend the show with a national pavilion situated in Hall 6, stand C50. A total of 15 exhibitors will present their expertise and capabilities in software development and outsourcing in order to establish new partnerships and cooperation.

Romania’s presence at CeBIT 2014 focuses on leveraging the advantages that such an exposure has to offer to the countries’ ITC professionals. Having 230.000 professional visitors, 72% of CeBIT’s attendants are involved in decision-making; the networking facilities are designed for dedicated C-Level so that high-caliber meetings may occur.

At political level, CeBIT facilitates the dialogue between official delegations and their economic attachés. Romanian officials are eager to participate to this dialogue and increase the cooperation possibilities among the countries.

The event itself has a global appeal as the visitors come from over 120 countries and 160,000 contact per hour are being exchanged. One of the most important aspects that CeBIT facilitates is the knowledge transfer among experts: 130 high-caliber speakers supporting more than 1000 conference hours on 20 stages. The themes portfolio is also extremely diverse highlighting the current trends and ITC issues.

Last but not least, the IT show proposes a match-making system where providers and  potential customers can meet  and discuss ideas and projects in a well-organized manner.

The participation of Romanian companies at CeBIT 2014 is part of the Exports Promotion Program organized by the Romanian Employer’s Association of the Software and Services Industry (ANIS), in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment (MECMA) and the Romanian Center for Trade Promotion and Foreign Investment (CRPCIS).
