The world’s largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments, CeBIT will take place between 05-09 March 2013 in Hannover. The key target groups are users from industry, the wholesale/retail sector, skilled trades, banks, the services sector, government agencies, science and all users passionate about technology.
As usual, CeBIT chooses each year a keynote theme. Following “Cloud Technology” in 2011 and “Managing Trust” in 2012, “Shareconomy” is the keynote theme for CeBIT 2013. The idea is a logical conclusion of the last year’s trend of increasing usage of cloud-based applications. As users gain more trust in these applications, the importance of sharing knowledge, resources and experience comes in the spotlight. This new type of economy generates new forms of collaboration, and vice versa.
The four platform of CeBIT 2013 are: CeBIT pro designed for top-level decision makers from the industry, CeBIT gov gathering the Public Sector targeted solutions, CeBIT lab – the place where visions are transformed into prototypes and CeBIT life created for showcasing the impact that ITC innovations have on our lives.
In order to facilitate networking and debates on top themes, CGC (CeBIT Global Conferences) will feature more than 100 speeches, panel discussions and presentations.
Romania will be attending the event with a country stand aiming to support and present a set of Romanian ITC service providers. More details on Romania’s participation will be available soon.
The indicated venue is Exhibition Grounds, 30521 Hannover, Germany and opening hours, daily from 9.00 to 6.00 p.m.
