How can outdoor cooking promote team spirit?

At Codespring | Softech’s Odorhei office, we have several traditional events that are becoming gradually more popular as our team grows.

Every spring, we bring everyone together to celebrate the anniversary of the Odorhei office, which is now 16 years old!

In the summer, we regularly hike to the nearest fishing lake together on two wheels. Even though our speeds differ, our commitment to performance is always the same.

No matter the weather, we organize an open-air cooking event every year, hosted by one of our colleagues.

This year, we hosted the sixth edition of our annual garden party in early September, welcoming each other back after a too short summer vacation season. Having more than 30 people over, preparing delicious food together for everyone, and sharing a few drinks while watching our family members make new friends in our community is what we consider a great way to deepen true friendships.

Precious takeaways after the garden meeting

We all felt nice meeting the families and friends or our colleagues. Playing table tennis and basketball, trying out jumping ropes, and chatting around the table are all pleasant memories. As the community grows each year with new colleagues and their families, events like this garden lunch provide more opportunities for connection. It gives new colleagues a better chance to feel included in the team, different generations find new ways to bond, and new friendships blossom while existing ones grow stronger.
